| ~ Road Closures/Reopenings ~ |
Dirks Road will be closed from Bryant Irvin, at the Post Office, to Granbury Rd May 4-Aug 18, 2013
Commuters traveling near Hulen Mall in south Fort Worth should expect overnight closures along State Highway 183 and Interstate 20 over the next several weeks. Crews working in the area will set beams for the four north- and southbound Chisholm Trail Parkway main lane bridges that will be part of the SH 183/I-20/CTP interchange.
The Bryant Irvin Road entrance ramp to eastbound SH 183 will be temporarily closed until the new permanent ramp is constructed in spring 2013. As an alternative, motorists are encouraged to access I-20 eastbound from Bryant Irvin Road.
The $117 million access improvement project at I-20/SH 183 is in preparation for the future SH 121/Chisholm Trail Parkway. The project will construct several new bridges, access ramps and new SH 121/Chisholm Trail Parkway frontage roads as well as lower and rebuild the SH 183 main lanes. Completion is scheduled for spring 2013.
Click on link below regarding closures related to the Chisholm Trail Parkway project through Spring 2013.
Project information is accessible at: www.txdot.gov, KEYWORD: Chisholm Trail Parkway.
