Dear Fellow Meadows West Residents:
As many of you know, a Zoning Change has been requested by a Developer in contemplation of the purchase and development of the LMRA property on Bryant Irvin.
The decision on the Zoning Case has been continued by the City Counsel in order to study the impact of the proposed development on the area. We have expressed our concerns to Councilman Zimmerman regarding any increased traffic on Belaire and the protection of the character of our neighborhood. The matter is set a hearing on December 10th at 7:00 pm. If you would like your voice heard please email Councilman Zimmerman about this case in the next couple of days.
Your email can be short and to the point. Be sure to include the case number: ZC-13-143/LMRA. And include your name, address and how far you live from LMRA.

Commuters traveling near Hulen Mall in south Fort Worth should expect overnight closures along State Highway 183 and Interstate 20 over the next several weeks. Crews working in the area will set beams for the four north- and southbound Chisholm Trail Parkway main lane bridges that will be part of the SH 183/I-20/CTP interchange.
The $117 million access improvement project at I-20/SH 183 is in preparation for the future SH 121/Chisholm Trail Parkway. The project will construct several new bridges, access ramps and new SH 121/Chisholm Trail Parkway frontage roads as well as lower and rebuild the SH 183 main lanes. Completion is scheduled for spring 2013.
